The Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire 2007

THE SURVEY

April 2nd 2007 sees the launch of the first ever national survey of community pharmacy customers. Although participation is mandatory under the new community pharmacy contract in England and Wales, this is a great opportunity for pharmacists to find out what customers think, and this can form the basis of rational business planning to improve key aspects of service and enhance profitability.

PatientDynamics Ltd is a highly experienced, Healthcare Commission Approved survey provider that surveyed more than 250,000 patients last year. Having been involved in many patient experience surveys over the last 12 years, we have put considerable thought into finding ways to make the survey fit easily into the retail pharmacy environment and meet your business needs.

We are offering two surveying modalities:

Printed Questionnaires

Each of these systems has been designed to minimise the time demands on staff, and to avoid interference with the smooth running of the pharmacy. In particular, thought was given to avoiding cluttering the counter area with questionnaires, avoiding ballot box-style collection, or the need for a fixed surface in order to write on the form.

Just two choices determine the cost.
  1. The size of the pharmacy as determined by monthly script volume.
  2. Whether you want to do an online survey only, or both printed questionnaires and online survey.
Size of Pharmacy Average Script Volume/Month Price Online Only Price Printed Pad plus Online
Small <2,000 £75 £150
Medium 2,001~6,000 £85 £175
Large >6,001 £95 £195

These prices include personalised questionnaire pads (print option) online survey stickers, reply-paid envelopes, a pharmacy poster, an explanatory survey guide, together with all the data inputting, analysis and a detailed, business enhancing report.
